As always, volunteering and meetings are TOTALLY optional. But we invite you to do both - and hope you will!

Spring Book Fair Coming Soon

Join us for a book-tastic adventure at the Liberty Elementary School Spring Book Fair! From April 8-12, 2024, the library will be bursting with page-turning treasures!

Kids will get to explore the fair during their designated class time and can use cash, check, credit, or even an E-Wallet to shop for books they'll adore.

Want to tag along and help your little one choose the perfect book? You're more than welcome! Check out the SCHEDULE to see when your child's class will be browsing the fair.

E-Wallet is a handy option that lets you deposit money into your child's account before their visit, so they can shop at the fair without worrying about cash. To learn more about the Liberty Elementary School Scholastic Book Fair, or to get started with E-Wallet, visit our website at https://www.scholastic.com/bf/libertyelementaryschool28 or scan the QR code in the attached FLYER.

Oh, and book lovers, we're looking for volunteers too! Lend a helping hand and guide students through the fair to find their next favorite read. Use the link below to sign up and join the fun!

Become A Volunteer!

Attention all parents, caregivers, grandparents and any other student-connected adults...make sure you complete your background check with VOLY so you can be involved with Liberty Elementary School throughout the year. You must have a valid background check to volunteer on campus...this includes Mystery Readers, Lunch Coverage, Watch DOGS, Field Trip Chaperones and many, many more opportunities.

The process can take a few weeks to get the approval back and we expect the system to be busy at the start of the year so be sure to get the process going at VOLYVOLY background checks need to be renewed EVERY YEAR. So if you previously had one on file, it did expire over the summer and you will need to submit a new one for this school year.

For any questions about VOLY or volunteering at Liberty Elementary School please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Emily Amidon (emilylamidon@gmail.com)

Liberty Eagle Festival Raffle and Silent Auction

Donations Needed

Our school is in need of community donations for the silent auction and raffle at our Liberty Eagle Festival.

All donations support a great cause, and it's a wonderful opportunity to advertise your business!

Examples of raffle and silent auction items could include items from your business, certificates for services, or gift cards. In the past we received a certificate for Cool Sculpting from Ideal Image, which is a perfect auction item.

If you or someone you know is able to donate goods or services to this wonderful cause, please contact Mandi Tompkins at tompkinsm@lisd.net or call the main office at 469-713-5958.
