Our PTA subscribes to Membership Toolkit —an online service that makes it easier to work together.

Please register for free— then join or renew your PTA membership for the current school year!

As always, volunteering and meetings are TOTALLY optional. But we invite you to do both - and hope you will!

For more information, view the Membership & Check Writing Donation Form with FAQs.

Already have a Membership Toolkit account (with another organization or from a previous year)? Use the same log-in here!

Reminder: You must renew your membership every year.

Common question: Do I have to volunteer?

No, although there are plenty of opportunities to do so if you wish. Your membership alone supports our organization and keeps you informed.

By joining PTA you are supporting our students, our faculty and public education!

Become A Volunteer!

Attention all parents, caregivers, grandparents and any other student-connected adults...make sure you complete your background check with VOLY so you can be involved with Liberty Elementary School throughout the year. You must have a valid background check to volunteer on campus...this includes Mystery Readers, Lunch Coverage, Watch DOGS, Field Trip Chaperones and many, many more opportunities.

The process can take a few weeks to get the approval back and we expect the system to be busy at the start of the year so be sure to get the process going at VOLYVOLY background checks need to be renewed EVERY YEAR. So if you previously had one on file, it did expire over the summer and you will need to submit a new one for this school year.

For any questions about VOLY or volunteering at Liberty Elementary School please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Emily Amidon (emilylamidon@gmail.com)

LISD Student Success Center

Liberty Elementary School PTA is taking donations for items to help the staff at the Student Success Center. The staff at the Student Success Center supports students from the entire LISD district who have significant social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

They have two programs on their campus: Discipline Alternative Education Program (DAEP) and Teaching Emotional Academic Motivational Success (TEAMS).   Their focus is on academics and behavior support with direct social skills instruction and opportunities to practice.

They do not have a PTA and rely on community partners to support the staff. The Administration team would like to provide their 85 staff members a surprise treat once a month. Please help us support their hardworking staff by sponsoring a treat or purchasing items from our Amazon Wish List. We are appreciative of any donation and are open to ideas on a type of treat (e.g., snack cart, sonic drinks, ice cream bar, root beer/coke floats, etc). Please see the links below:

Liberty PTA Reflections Program

Liberty PTA is proud to participate in the National PTA Reflections Program. This program has encouraged millions of students to express themselves by giving positive recognition for their artistic efforts.

Students may create and submit works of art in six categories: dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and visual arts. Students are recognized at the Local, Council, State and National PTA levels. At each level, all entries are judged on interpretation of the theme, creativity, and artistic merit.

This year's theme is "I am hopeful because...."  Entries are due by October 13, 2023.

Please see the FLYER for details.
